Hostel City

Student and resident terms

Before accommodation is finalized

  • Visit and inspect the hostel before finalizing accommodation.
  • Independently verify its location, facilities, the owner's identity and their authorization to provide accommodation.
  • Review and agree to rent, deposits, utility charges, payment dates, refund conditions, notice periods and hostel rules before paying or moving in.
  • Follow your agreed accommodation terms and applicable laws. If booking for another person, share the terms with the resident and obtain their agreement.

An online booking request or acceptance is not a signed accommodation agreement or a guarantee of safety, identity, availability or payment. The booking history and policy audit trail record platform actions and acknowledgements, not the contents of a separately agreed accommodation contract.

The role of hostelcity.online

Hostel City operates hostelcity.online, which provides listing, discovery and booking-request tools. It is not a party to the accommodation agreement. Owners and residents are responsible for agreeing their accommodation arrangements. We maintain the platform and review reports under our policies; badges do not replace independent checks. These terms do not exclude any duty, liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reports, restrictions and review

Report suspected fraud, false listings, harassment, misconduct or policy violations through the listing's report control or support. We may restrict, suspend or block accounts and listings where appropriate, including urgent protective action. Affected users may ask support to review the decision and provide relevant evidence. We will consider the report, available evidence and the response, explain the outcome where appropriate, and correct mistakes. Do not send identity documents or passwords through public reports.
