Hostel City

Hostel owner terms

Before accommodation is finalized

  • Verify the resident's identity and identity document before allocating a room. Handle documents securely and collect only what is needed.
  • Confirm rent, deposits, utilities, payment dates, refunds, notice periods and house rules with the resident.
  • Give both parties time to review and agree to written accommodation terms before finalizing the arrangement.
  • Keep availability, photos, prices and facilities accurate. List only accommodation you are authorized to offer and comply with applicable laws and safety requirements.

An online booking request or acceptance is not a signed accommodation agreement or a guarantee of safety, identity, availability or payment. The booking history and policy audit trail record platform actions and acknowledgements, not the contents of a separately agreed accommodation contract.

The role of hostelcity.online

Hostel City operates hostelcity.online, which provides listing, discovery and booking-request tools. It is not a party to the accommodation agreement. Owners and residents are responsible for agreeing their accommodation arrangements. We maintain the platform and review reports under our policies; badges do not replace independent checks. These terms do not exclude any duty, liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reports, restrictions and review

Report suspected fraud, false listings, harassment, misconduct or policy violations through the listing's report control or support. We may restrict, suspend or block accounts and listings where appropriate, including urgent protective action. Affected users may ask support to review the decision and provide relevant evidence. We will consider the report, available evidence and the response, explain the outcome where appropriate, and correct mistakes. Do not send identity documents or passwords through public reports.
